The story

Ciao, I'm Franco and I've just come back from an exciting holiday in Brazil/Fortaleza. I must be honest, when I asked for information about Fortaleza I couldn't understand what I would find, since every person I consulted gave me generic information and everyone told me: "if you want to understand how it is there, you have to go" - all of which, I must admit, worried me quite a lot!!! now that I'm back I thank all those who allowed me to experience an unforgettable holiday in every respect. I must say that apart from a few minor hitches, my holiday was complete and varied. During my stay I was hosted in an apartment in Beira Mar, which is the central beach where the city's best hotels are located.

Fortaleza is a rather easy and complete city, both during the day, when you can choose between spending the day on the two city beaches (Beira Mar/Praia do Futuro) or, by organising a day in advance, visiting other very fun beaches like Combuco, Morro Branco, Beac Park, etc, etc. In the evening, on the other hand, after savouring the local dishes or Italian (or other) restaurants, there are various entertainment options ranging from the little bar with live music to discos and nightclubs. I must say I was surprised by these very simple, friendly people, always with a smile on their lips. Imagine, I only realised I was back in Italy after coming out of the Malpensa checks. Yes, I went into a bar to buy cigarettes and when I saw the cashier's face I wanted to take the first flight and go back to Brazil.

Among the people I wanted to thank for making my trip unforgettable, there's one in particular, an Italian guy called Ivan, who arranged my accommodation and my trips. I invite all of you who would like friendly and helpful assistance to contact Ivan at this email address ivanbrasile@tiscali.it With that, I can only invite you once again to visit the capital of fun, sun and beautiful women, Fortaleza!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ciao and happy travels!!!!!!!!!!! N.B. Be very careful who you trust, since unfortunately there are quite a few rogues and chancers posing as people working in tourism in Fortaleza.
