The story

Brazil touch and go The Canadian flight from Canada to Toronto, where Nicola and I had set off the day before, or rather the evening before, has to stop in São Paulo, Brazil, to refuel. Evidently the B 767 either has little range or had to drop off people anyway; I think the second is the more likely. Anyway we all get off in São Paulo after flying over it for 20 minutes, it's that big. Imagine it: 20 million inhabitants. Nicola takes the chance to go shopping and buys a camera that costs much more in Italy. Also because where we're heading there are a lot of things to photograph: Argentina. We board again and leave Brazil, where we got no stamp in our passports, since we had stayed on this side of customs. bye
