Honeymoon and wedding on location. Flight from Milan Malpensa to Zurich. Zurich - Los Angeles. Los Angeles - Nadi. Journey time: about 30 hours. Arrival at Nadi airport and transfer to the Shangri-La Resort, located on a small islet connected to Nadi by a strip of land: we stayed there 3 days, it's wonderful.... During these 3 days we visited the whole islet, which is immersed in greenery and surrounded by the coral reef... the local staff, fantastic. We visited Nadi and Lautoka (the 2 largest towns), went shopping and sorted out the paperwork for our wedding. After 3 days we boarded at Lautoka for a cruise to the Mamanuca and Yasawa islands... We visited various islands, especially the Yasawas in the north...

Turtle Island (the island where the film The Blue Lagoon was shot) and other islets....they look hand-made and unreal, some islets are inhabited, others not....we did a lot of snorkelling and fed the fish: it all seemed unreal, like being in an aquarium!!!!! After the cruise, which was wonderful, we moved by seaplane to Tokoriki Resort in the Mamanucas, where we got married.... it's a small resort surrounded by the coral reef, super quiet and super well kept....

We got married on the beach, under a palm tree; the organiser truly took care of every detail, we fulfilled a dream, barefoot, at sunset (they are super organised, you can choose whatever you want...they shower you with attention), candlelit dinner, in the morning we were on the beach and saw all the preparations, they gathered fresh flowers around the island, palm leaves to weave onto the trunk of "our palm" and prepared the flower arch for us. They made me the bouquet and the flower crown with local orchids.....and after the ceremony we did the typical Fijian Kava ceremony (for good luck), they provided the witnesses, hairdresser, photos and video, in short everything.

Clearly it is all valid in Italy too, you just have to follow the procedure and send the documents to the Italian Embassy in Canberra, Australia, they take care of the translation and legalisation in Italy...they are extremely efficient....For us this trip was a dream in every sense....You could write a book about it....

Deve essere stata una bellissima esperienza, io e la mia futura moglie vorremmo realizzare lo stesso sogno, potreste aiutarci dandoci informayioni utili su chi organizza tali viaggi...?
