USA With Nicola, we have a rental car; we landed with a B 737 at the ski town of Jackson Hole, surrounded by the Rocky Mountains. There is snow and the plane has to descend into the valley like a spring so as not to run into the mountains, and likewise when it takes off. We visit the small town, which has a peculiarity: a tangle of deer antlers in the public gardens forming a kind of archway, truly something I had never seen; then, shortly after, we discover that just outside the town, in the meadows covered with snow, there really are many deer grazing; it must be an area where they live. During the summer they then migrate to the nearby Yellowstone national park. Where Nicola and I head, but unfortunately at the entrance a barrier in the middle of the road doesn't let us pass; "park closed", it says. What bad luck.
We wanted to see Yogi and Boo-Boo, but then we thought they were in bed asleep. bye
