USA Los Angeles with Nicola The Air New Zealand plane coming from London takes Nicola and me to Los Angeles; we land in the evening of the same day and rent a car, after which we sleep in a small motel. The next morning we wake up early given the time difference and decide to go to Long Beach, where we see the Queen Elizabeth 2, the legendary ship now a hotel, and the 6-engine Goose seaplane surrounded by a great white half-dome that protects it from the weather. After that we spend the whole afternoon, just to pass the time, at Disneyland, the copy of Disneyworld and Eurodisney; we like some things and not others, like the price of the entrance ticket. In the evening we head to the huge LAX airport, where we return the rental car and set off for French Polynesia. bye
