Miami USA Mauro and I arrived after a long plane journey, let's say an 18-hour slog with a stopover in Los Angeles coming from New Zealand. Amid the time zones, we arrive in Miami in the evening, we no longer understood what time it was in our bodies. But unfortunately the flight that would take us onward was the next morning and, after trying to call a few hotels near the airport with the courtesy phones, we decided to sleep on the terminal's carpet; the dollars just to sleep and get up early were too many. During the night, some little mice keep us company; they're airport mice, who knows if any of them ever managed to get on a flight. If I'd been born a mouse I'd have travelled the world and even for free. The next morning, the advantage of already being at the airport means we're the first at check-in; the American Airlines flight to the Caribbean is on time. bye
