The morning of 9 April 2006 was truly a special day for me and Valentina.
Our first intercontinental trip to the United States of America was about to begin.
The tour, entirely organised by us thanks to the internet, included visits to many fascinating places such as New York - Niagara Falls in Canada - Toronto, and then Florida - with the Orlando theme parks - Jacksonville where I met my uncle Vincenzo - Miami - the Everglades National Park and the legendary Keys Islands, in short a dream coming true...
On this adventure of about 20 days we spent unforgettable days.
This text is dedicated to New York, "the Big Apple". Here a visit to Ground Zero couldn't be missed, only 5 years after the famous 11 September...
Not to mention the "climb" up the Empire State Building, from where it's possible to see the city from above... stupendous!!!
Obviously we didn't miss the visit to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, in short truly intense days full of emotions.
Pity that we were here only 4 days, but our tour required it, so on the morning of 12 April we picked up our train tickets booked on the internet, and headed off to the legendary Niagara Falls.
The 8 hours of train that separate New York from Niagara Falls were full of memories of the Big Apple, but also of joy since another great destination was awaiting us, the American dream thus continued...
