Arrival in New York
After a long journey we finally arrived in New York. We landed at 10:00 PM and the next day at 7:00 AM we were already on the street. Our Alberto was on 117th Street and we walked all the way to the sea. What a walk... but I'd say the effort was rewarded. A nice American breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, scalloped potatoes, toast and a half-liter vanilla milkshake) just to stock up on energy. Walked, walked, walked, at one point I had a stiff neck. Of course, always looking up isn't the best, but then again I didn't have much choice:O). Finally, once on the Empire State Building, the roles reversed, and suddenly it was I who was looking at New York from above. Anyway, in the evening we got back around 7:00 PM, dead tired, and threw ourselves on the bed. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! We woke up the next morning and at 2:00 PM we had the train for Washington.
You won't believe it, but I was in New York and I missed the night show. We arrive at the central station and take the train to Washington.
