The story

US Virgin Islands We disembark from the biggest ship in the world at the time, the Destiny of the Carnival Cruise Lines. Having left from Miami, after 2 days of cruising we arrive in the western Caribbean, and we get off for the whole day at St Croix, where I ask about renting a car, but the office just below the ship is already out of cars. The girl tells me to try at the island's airport, so we get on a bus that takes us to the airport, where we just barely manage to rent the last available car, and off we go. I, Vanni, mum and 2 other friends. I drive, and during the whole sunny day we tour the entire island: characteristic little villages, beaches full of shells and green hills with very beautiful golf courses.

The views from above are lovely, then Vanni points out that one of the wheels is going flat, clearly punctured, so we inflate it at the filling station and head for the port, where towards evening we return the car after reinflating it. The next day we stop at St Thomas, also in the US Virgin Islands, but this time we walk around on foot. bye
