Abu Dhabi: The Refined Capital

First stop of our summer holidays, which we reach with an Alitalia award flight. A car hired at the airport that will then take us on to Dubai. We spent a day and a half in the capital of the Emirates, a city that...we like. Apart from the modern masterpiece of the Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi has no real attractions, but its skyline, its avenues, the corniche, the residential neighbourhoods, all help to make it beautiful and pleasant, prosperous and refined. A city with a fine standard of living.
