Day 116 Aug 2006

Departure from Alghero, London-Glasgow with a Ryanair flight. On arrival at Glasgow airport, car rental and off we go on a tour of all of Scotland. From Glasgow to Inverness passing through Fort William and Loch Ness, then on to Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh. The bed and breakfasts were already booked before departure, everything went smoothly. English breakfasts very generous. We found rain especially in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Edinburgh, otherwise sun. The little villages you come across along the way are worth visiting, they are very pretty, but my advice is not to arrive after 8 in the evening because the restaurants close really early and you risk not having dinner at all, as happened to us!!
