A short but intense long weekend in London.. a metropolis that really has so much to offer.. even if the time to visit and enjoy it was too short.,. the most intense moment??? surely lying down to rest in one of London's parks..like a true Londoner!!!
The weather is unpredictable, but that didn't stop us from wandering it far and wide as much as the weather allowed.. Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Notting Hill, Covent Garden (truly amazing!!), Camden Town, the parks, Soho, the wonderful Piccadilly Circus (which when lit up at night is a real spectacle), Trafalgar Square (the National Gallery saved us from a sudden downpour that washed us in a few seconds.. and by the way the entrance is free like many other national museums)... the only flaw..the food! but you know.. where can an Italian feel good eating if not at home??
anyway adapting is really easy, getting lost impossible..one bit of advice: umbrella or rain jacket always at hand..for the rest every corner of London wins you over on its own.
