The story

A road trip in discovery of the typical English bed & breakfasts, from the horse farm not far from Stonehenge to the former home of a frigate captain in Polruan, on the estuary of a river in Cornwall, from the elegant neo-Baroque residence overlooking St Michael's Mount, an exact replica of the French island of the same name, to the characteristic little red-brick house in the surfers' town, before landing at an ancient manor near elegant Bath.
