Il Roller Monza played the semi-final in Spain, and what better occasion for a little trip to Spanish soil... one day at the beach and one at the match. An exhausting journey but great fun. Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and Tamariu are three coastal spots that are part of the municipality of Palafrugell, which sits inland on the Costa Brava. Calella is one of the most characteristic (and exclusive) villages of the Costa Brava. The setting is typical of the little seaside towns of the Costa Brava: small beaches (packed in summer), colourful fishing boats resting on the pebbles of the coves, souvenir shops scattered among the narrow streets and white houses. Not by chance, Calella is one of the most photographed places on the Costa Brava. Llafranc and Tamariu are close to Calella and can easily be reached on foot too, walking along splendid coastal paths.
