Once Christmas is over we decide to treat ourselves to a few days' holiday, but where? Our limited budget makes us choose a nearby destination, and Madrid, still unexplored for us, seems ideal, even if a not-too-warm climate isn't very inviting, but the days are few and the things to see many... so a low-cost last-minute flight with vueling.com, strictly booked online, and through a tour operator we choose a hotel in the centre that lets us reach as comfortably as possible the greatest number of places of interest.
