The story

We booked the flight with Ryanair, 80 euros from Bergamo to Madrid round trip; online I found on the Gran Via (the main one) a Hostal (Avenida) at 58 euros for a double room per night, very nice, with great value for money. Once there we walked the whole city for 3 days, seeing almost everything without taking the metro. It was 3 sunny days at 20 degrees. We see the fantastic Plaza Mayor, the royal palace, the main gardens and the Sabatini ones, the fashion streets like Calle Arenal or the Gran Via, the Plaza de Toros, the cathedrals of the Almudena, of Sant'Isidoro, of San Francisco el Grande, the Plaza de Oriente, the Plaza de la Villa, the Royal Theatre, the Prado museum with the church of San Jeronimo, the Puerta de Alcalá, the communications palace and the Banco de España.

In short, everything and more, and in the evening living the Madrid movida, where Saturday doesn't exist, but every day is the same. We ate paella and tapas in the little restaurants around the Plaza Mayor, in short a holiday not to be missed!! I keep memories and photos of everything. aldo
