Beautiful Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands, and lies right in the centre of the Mediterranean Sea. The island boasts very ancient origins: already 3,000 years ago it was inhabited by Phoenicians, Arabs and Romans. So the historical heritage it preserves is truly astonishing, but even more fascinating is the beautiful natural landscape that distinguishes it.

The beaches of Mallorca
Obviously, we're mainly talking about its stunning beaches of very white sand, lapped by a clear and crystal-clear sea. Moreover, the atmosphere filled with typically Mediterranean scents, flavors, and colors makes it a truly enchanting and unforgettable place. This is also why it's the favorite destination of a great many tourists, especially the very young, coming from every part of Europe. Among the most beautiful beaches, we particularly recommend one: it's the lido of S'Arenal, in the immediate vicinity of the island's capital, namely Palma de Mallorca.
Besides being an enchanting place for its fine sand and its blue sea, S'Arenal is also one of the most well-equipped beaches on the island: along the beach, in fact, you'll find the El Arenal tourist center, full of hotels suited to every taste and need! Another place I've visited and would recommend is Formentor beach, which is located on the northernmost tip of Mallorca. This wonderful lido is one of the best known on the island, along with Playa d'Es Trenc, which is in the southern area, and Cala Mesquida, which instead occupies the eastern coast. The distinctive feature of this beach is immediately noticeable: it's, in fact, a long and narrow strip of sand, lapped by emerald-green waters and surrounded by lush nature.

Attractions in Mallorca
Besides its beaches, Mallorca has some beautiful cities, first and foremost Palma de Mallorca, which is located in the south of the island. It's surprising to immerse yourself in the characteristic atmospheres of this wonderful city, which strongly recalls North African towns, with their distinctive colors and flavors. The city of Palma offers everything, from art to culture to gastronomy and finally, why not, to entertainment. How could you not visit the historic narrow streets of this city all the way to the famous Cathedral located right near the sea. If you feel like experiencing the night, you can't avoid going to dinner to eat fish among the many restaurants on the island and then going dancing in the big and popular clubs in Palma or nearby in Megaluf.
Here there's only an embarrassment of choice between BCM, Tito's, and Pacha, but there are also many noteworthy cocktail bars and pubs, though frequented by the all-too-noisy English friends. Furthermore, the area around Palma de Mallorca, known as Serra de Tramontana, is a true earthly paradise for those who love hiking and cycling. Serra de Tramuntana is located in the west of the island between the sea and the mountain ranges of Mallorca and offers, to those who want to go, breathtaking landscapes and beautiful sights to admire that make other more famous places envious. In short, Mallorca knows how to offer a complete vacation suited to every type of need or expectation!
