an unforgettable trip to the Balearic Islands together with my friends and the enviable company of my girlfriend

Day 18 Aug 2016

Ibiza

Ibiza is a splendid island located in the Mediterranean off the east coast of Spain, and is part of the Balearic archipelago together with Majorca, Formentera, Minorca. Ibiza is a highly respectable tourist destination as it welcomes millions of young people eager to spend a memorable holiday on this island. Being the mecca of discos and techno and house music parties, it is visited mainly by all those who are passionate about this type of music, but Ibiza is not only this. In Ibiza there are an endless number of beaches and coves that appeal to many families but also to young people who prefer the sea to the wild Ibizan nightlife. The Ibizan nightlife is so lively and bustling that you hardly go to bed before 5 in the morning. The best way to reach Ibiza is to buy a direct flight.

There are dozens of airlines, both flag carriers and charter flights, that stop at Ibiza airport departing from all the main European capitals. Another very valid alternative is to take a ferry departing from Barcelona; it is slightly cheaper although at times in the height of summer it can also be more expensive. You can stay in 2- or 3-star hotels in Ibiza or in Sant Antonio or Santa Eularia, the two other main towns of Ibiza, but extremely cheap are the accommodations in apartments and hostels, valid alternatives especially for the youngest, who are normally the ones most eager to save.

Day 212 Aug 2016

What to do in Ibiza

After several days wandering around Ibiza with the intention of finding beautiful beaches and lots of fun, I can tell you with certainty that the things to do in Ibiza are countless. For example, one day I rented some scooters and went to Platja d'en Bossa, where there is a company that rents jet skis or where you can try flyboarding. That day I tried flyboarding because I thought it would be a unique experience, and so it was!! With the flyboard I flew through the air and submerged myself in the water with the powerful jets of the flyboard, and I felt my heart in my throat.
