After a week spent in the suffocating heat of Croatia (many days over 40°), we finally arrive in Slovenia.
We immediately realise that, fortunately for us, the temperature will be more acceptable, so we arrive at the "Camping Sobec" near Bled, and immediately discover that the campsite is a real gem set in nature, and that our bungalow is something truly exceptional..
Even Lucky... our four-legged friend is enthusiastic and sprightlier than usual.
The days pass quickly: first of all we visit the nearby Lake Bled and its castle, which are very beautiful, then in the following days we visit the various places included in our tour (organised, as always, by the undersigned), such as the capital Ljubljana, Predjama Castle, and the Vintgar Gorge in the Triglav National Park, the most beautiful and with the highest peaks in all of Slovenia.
All the places seen deserve a visit, and did not disappoint our expectations, then the campsite made our stay even more pleasant; indeed memorable were the swims in the little lake (with a not very clear water colour), the games of racket ball on the lawn and the match played on a real mini-tennis court; also memorable was the argument between Lucky and a rather naughty swan, and the races on the green lawns of the campsite.
All in all a lovely holiday to remember, and a country to recommend.
We'll be back.
Greetings from the travellers Claudio, Valentina and Lucky
