After not even 2 months, the return to Mokba..always wonderful, always unique, always gigantic, always hard to understand and to get around. Fortunately I was in the gentle hands of Olga, who kindly hosted me in her small flat. Apart from the outward flight, which as far as organisation goes was the worst I have ever taken in my whole life, these days were devoted to the relaxed visiting of new places in the city thanks to the pleasant company of my wonderful princess... One place to flag above all is the Novodevichy Convent, which lies to the south-west of the city with its Smolensky Cathedral, whose painted walls dating back to the 16th century have nothing to envy in the much better-known walls of the Kremlin cathedral..
Another beautiful place is the square in honour of the Russian victory during the Second World War, known as Park Pobedy, from which the metro stop also takes its name......
