Departure from Cagliari with a TAP Air Portugal flight, all fine. Lisbon is a very lovely city, we climbed up the narrow streets of Bairro Alto making use of the elevadores, seeing all the buildings covered in the famous azulejos, the coloured tiles, the Praça do Rossio, the Alfama, the shops of the Baixa, the Tagus river that crosses the city, the Belém Tower and Manueline architecture. A must-visit is the Centro Vasco da Gama where the Oceanarium is located, the largest aquarium in Europe. In the surroundings, a visit to Cascais and Estoril, which are seaside towns. Then a visit to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe. Then a must-visit to the village of Sintra, to the Pena Palace, a village that is called 'the little Scotland', it is shrouded in fog and full of castles and colourful flowers.
