a do-it-yourself weekend for 3 people, discovering Krakow and Warsaw, with short trips in the surroundings. very small budget, Alitalia flight from Catania to Warsaw, hotel 2 nights in Krakow and 1 in Warsaw (both right in the historic centre) for a total of 150.00 euros. car rental about 150 euros. in Krakow you must not miss a visit to the castle on the Wawel and the Cathedral, the Market Square and the Jewish quarter (in the evening full of bars for young people). in Warsaw just a visit to the square in front of the castle.. is worth the price of the whole trip; all the most important places to visit are reachable on foot in a few minutes. Lest we forget, a visit to the Auschwitz and Birkenau camps is a must. I recommend a stop at Czestochowa, a city famous for the Sanctuary of the Black Madonna.
