Norway: Wonder of wonders!!!

... as usual I limit myself to writing a few lines (sigh) to describe a trip that would deserve pages and pages!!!

A trip to Norway should really be on every traveller's list; it's a truly unique place in the world.

My advice is to fly there and then tour it by car; you can also see the inland towns and climb to the top of the fjords, things that are hard to do with the classic cruise.

If you set off from Oslo, pass through Lillehammer, the town where the winter Olympics took place, in my opinion the most beautiful in history.

Also consider staying in the bungalows at the campsites: at very affordable prices you can rent real little wooden houses set in the greenery and in wonderful surroundings.

One last note: when planning your trip, bear in mind that distances in Norway are enormous, and that driving times, because of the endless bends and the ferries to take, are always high.
