Having left the Swedish capital we headed for Norway to reach our second destination: Oslo! We settled at the Ekeber camping, from where visiting the Norwegian capital was very convenient. Beautiful city..better than Stockholm..cleaner and also more welcoming.. At our campsite we met a large group of French "boy scouts" with whom we struck up a good relationship and spent 2 lovely days between football matches, meals and evenings partying until late into the night. The day the French left for Bergen left us a bit dazed... and after some heated discussions we decided to follow our new friends towards this city. But the best was about to come..Mauri and I woke up around 5 on a very chilly morning, took a look at the map of Norway and for both of us the reading of "Nordkapp" changed everything..
So we decided to forget our French friends and reach the northernmost place in Europe! We crossed the whole of Norway (2300 km) in 48 hours admiring places and locations that are enchanting, almost indescribable in words, to arrive at one of the most sought-after destinations for many travellers..North Cape!! Stunning! Having spent a day on this large rock we set off again to retrace the same road without ever stopping...our next stop by common accord was Copenhagen! It was only about 3000 km away!
