Monaco I set off with my Aprilia 125 RX enduro motorbike from Cinquale, destination the Principality of Monaco. Blast, of all days the petrol stations had to be on strike; so in the 2 side panniers I take 2 little cans of 5 litres of petrol each, a bit dangerous in case of a fall, but I couldn't postpone. I ride ordinary roads the whole way through Liguria; it never ends; it's well known that 125 cc bikes can't go on the motorway.
Past Genoa and its chaotic traffic, I discover that some petrol stations are open.
I arrive at the border and, after showing my documents, I cross into France at Menton, continue on the beautiful panoramic road of the Côte d'Azur and arrive in the afternoon, just in time to enter Monte Carlo and see the Formula 1 cars in the pits. Yes, because it's Friday; as always, but I didn't know it, there's no practice; there's only Thursday and Saturday. I park the Aprilia and take a stroll around the principality. Niki Lauda and other important drivers, as well as well-known figures, are strolling around the pits.
I stay a couple of hours in the Formula 1 area, enjoying it a good deal given my passion for this sport.
Monte Carlo is a unique skyscraper, all concentrated in a small space; it reminds me of Hong Kong.
I set off again on my Aprilia heading for Piedmont.
bye
