A Weekend in Nice and Monte Carlo

For this Easter weekend I, Cuffietta and the 2 Valentinas set off for the French Riviera. By now I know this French region perhaps better than Lombardy.. So around 6 p.m. on 10 April I went to pick up "my" Valentina at the bar where she worked and then Luca and the other Vale (my little one)... Once in Liguria we left the motorway to look for a place to spend the night but we found nothing!! Not even the somewhat more expensive hotels!! So we had to spend the night in the car... an uncomfortable night for all 4 of us. The following day we reached Nice where we stayed in a little hotel in the Algerian quarter of the city. We spent 2 relaxing days between the very expensive Monte Carlo and the ever-stunning Nice.. My previous wanderings in these areas had undoubtedly been more fun... but... you know how it is.... when you are in a relationship...
