A Trip to Latvia

I visited this country as part of a wider tour of the Baltics made with my Fiat Tipo (see also LITHUANIA and ESTONIA). Entering from the Lithuanian border near Bauska, I stopped in the capital Riga, which has a historic centre of some interest. Skirting the Gulf of Riga I crossed the border with Estonia at Ainazi. Along the way I passed through an area of forests. On the way back from Estonia I drove the same road to Riga, then headed to Eleja to cross the border with Lithuania. This is not an indispensable trip for a traveller.
