Mediterranean Cruise: Taormina

Mediterranean cruise: (1 of 4) We set off from Genoa aboard the Costa Allegra. First stop Taormina, with a quick visit to the Graeco-Roman theatre. Just enough time for two photos and back on board. The ship is wonderful and has every kind of comfort, but against all expectations, once we rounded Sicily the sea made itself felt and we rolled quite a lot. The waves broke roaring against the Costa Allegra, and inside the cabin the booming made quite an impression. Of course there was absolutely no danger, but 90% of the passengers were in the grip of seasickness of various kinds...
