Orvieto in a Day

First of all, definitely buy the combined ticket; 18.00 euro well spent (15 for students). It gives you access to practically every attraction: St Patrick's Well, the Duomo, the Chapel of San Brizio, the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo, the Archaeological Museum, the Faina Museum, Orvieto Underground, the Etruscan Necropolis, the Pozzo della Cava, the Torre del Moro. On top of that, free use of public transport (extremely efficient), the funicular, discounts in car parks, shops and restaurants. The only problem is the time available: at 17.00 many places close, so you have to plan your visits well. Parking at the former Piave Barracks is free and right next to Piazza Cahen (St Patrick's Well) and the bus terminus. St Patrick's Well, the underground tour and the Pozzo della Cava are definitely worth it.
