The story
Ferragosto is a typically Italian holiday, absent in the other European countries, which falls on 15 August. Traditionally dedicated to outings, it is often characterised by hearty picnics and, given the seasonal heat, by refreshing baths in sea, river or lake waters. Also very common is the exodus towards mountain or hill resorts, in search of cool air (source: wikipedia). For this Ferragosto we decide to follow "the exodus towards an Umbrian hill resort": Country House Villa Poggiolo (PG). For the first time we will travel with the grandparents, for the first time the grandparents will travel with their grandson (apart from a few Sunday outings), and in the end we will all have the chance to spend a long weekend together devoted to relaxation and good food.
