A weekend in Tuscany

2 days in Tuscany over a very warm autumn weekend. Arriving in San Gimignano we were kindly welcomed by the owner of the bed and breakfast ''da rosetta'', who gave us excellent advice on everything worth knowing about this charming medieval village. We spent the afternoon visiting the town, which is actually very small but full of character. The next day we went to Siena and did a very classic tour of the city: Piazza del Palio, the cathedral, the baptistery. On the way home a brief stop in Pisa to see the beautiful ''Piazza dei Miracoli''!! Then 250 km in the pouring rain... Tired but happy!!
