The story

Having arrived in Corniglia, the middle village of the 5 localities that give the Cinque Terre Park its name, you have to take the shuttle up into the village or walk a kilometre uphill, from where there is a wonderful view towards Manarola. We did the Blue Trail over two days: the route from Corniglia to Riomaggiore is very easy and pleasant, half a day comfortably, and in the evening we ate good fish on the village's main street. Second day, second stretch of trail: from Corniglia to Monterosso. Between Corniglia and Vernazza it's relatively pleasant, but between Vernazza and Monterosso NO!!! I absolutely advise against it, and besides there isn't much to see! Just the view over Vernazza and then turn back! Third day, trip to Pisa and Lucca, very close by. Last half-day before leaving: Portovenere: beautiful!!!!!
