A weekend in Lignano

A weekend in Lignano Riviera at friends' home. A quiet spot, perfect for a couple of days with bikes and children. The flat a stone's throw from the sea completes the picture of a perfect lazy weekend. In the evening we moved to the livelier Lignano Pineta, where we had the luck to stumble into the Vecchia Napoli pizzeria: excellent service (fast and friendly) and a memorable pasta with clams and mussels. The next day, after a few minutes on the beach (I get bored right away), a bike trip to Lignano Sabbiadoro. The lighthouse pier deserves at least a photo.
