The Conero Riviera and Beyond

Finally a week of holiday; we set off for the Marche. Unfortunately the start of the trip is not the best: Trenitalia never lets you down — at Milano Centrale station they forgot a carriage, and so an hour's delay... after that, though, the journey goes smoothly. I had never visited the Marche and, for what I saw, they really deserve a more thorough visit. The week of "pretend" cultural enrichment and total relaxation went really well. The sea is beautiful and clean, the art and history interesting, the food sublime; what can I say, if you have a free weekend and want to enjoy it a little, the destination is worth it.
