Finally, after putting it off for years, we go to visit the (natural) thermal baths of Saturnia.

Day 128 Jun 2007

Many people reach them from Rome in a day, but honestly they're not close, and the road is full of curves for many kilometers, so we selected one of the many farm stays in the area for one night. You need to relax too! The natural pools are very pleasant, and you don't get bored even if you stay a whole day, because the goal is to slide from one pool to another as soon as space frees up. Moreover, being in the middle of nature and filling your eyes with the wonderful Tuscan countryside helps you feel even better! The hygienic aspect didn't bother us at all, that is, the fact that they're not spas with filtered water, but completely natural. We found free parking, but we arrived early and it wasn't Sunday. The next day we visited Sorano, another Etruscan gem in the province of Grosseto.
