With what word can I describe my beloved city? Fantastic! You can't visit Naples like any other city; you have to live it, understand it to the core. This is the city where the sun shines even when it rains, where walking through its streets you smell and hear unique scents and sounds, where people live for football. In Naples there are 2 castles I recommend visiting: the Maschio Angioino and the Castel dell'Ovo, set right on the sea. Mergellina is the ideal spot for a lovely romantic walk by the sea. Culinary tips: pizza, besides in the centre (I suggest the pizzeria Sorbillo), should also be eaten at the famous 'university of pizza' in Vico Equense. To see Naples from above I recommend going to San Martino; there's a beautiful view. The ticket price for the Certosa di San Martino is small: 6 euros (reduced 3 euros); it's not to be missed.
It's easy to get around Naples; the metro and the funicular connect most things. In time I'll update this 'journey' of mine with fresh addresses and news. Greetings to all travellers!
