
Archaeological visit by the Archeoclub of Ragusa, carried out in a day with its Members; in the morning we visit San Marco d'Alunzio, counted among the most beautiful towns in Italy and an ancient village of Greek origin, 4th century BC; we visit the temple of Heracles - the Church of the Madonna delle Grazie of the Filangeri Princes with two ancient sarcophagi and a statue by Gagini inside - the Mother Church - the Church of S. Maria dell'Ara Coeli - the Museum of Norman and Byzantine art with interesting finds. We then continue to the little village of Mirto; lunch is at the Trattoria "da Tonino" on via nazionale, recommendable from every point of view: taste, goodness, kindness, value. In the afternoon we visit the village and an incredible museum with ancient Sicilian aristocratic clothes from the 1700s up to the thirties, not to be missed.
