A Weekend in Recoaro

I had always heard about it, I had always seen the bottles of mineral water, but I had never been there. A weekend away from home, in the peace and quiet of little Recoaro, a little dinner on a terrace overlooking the Lora and a night spent at the hotel Trettenero. Sunday morning, 13 July 2008, up early, a walk to the spa and then by cable car up to Recoaro 1000. Towards 11, instead, we got in the car to reach the "Cesare Battisti" refuge, located on the Gazza plateau, 11 km from Recoaro at a height of 1265 metres. A lovely long walk in the woods photographing flowers and plants, and at 13:00 a meet-up at the refuge with all the friends from Tutto Kenya........a great feast thanks to the delicious cooking of Sara's mum and plenty of laughter talking about Kenya and the wish to go back there as soon as possible.
