Alpe di Siusi

After the last little trips to Spanish and German lands the long-awaited 31 December arrives!!! Olga lands once again at Malpensa airport! Having spent New Year's Eve in the company of my friends, on the morning of the first day of the year we head towards Casterotto (a small village at the foot of the Alpe di Siusi). The journey was longer than expected, not because of traffic but because we made a long stop on Lake Garda. Having arrived in the late evening in Telfen (a small hamlet of Castelrotto) we took possession of our small but cosy apartment booked online at the "Residence Linde". Excellent value for money!! I recommend it! We spent the days skiing from morning to evening up and down the vast plateau of the Alpe di Siusi, and of course we did not miss a visit to the villages near Castelrotto, including Ortisei.
