Ventotene

Stunning island!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quiet, human-scale. Enchanting beaches and thrilling dives. The locals are welcoming and the pink and yellow colour of the buildings pampers you under a warm sun, softened only by the typical island breeze. We stayed at the Pensione Isolabella, a simple family-run guesthouse, a little spartan but welcoming. It is very close to Cala Rossano. Excellent food. I recommend the Ventotene Diving Academy of Antonio Santomauro. All the organisation was handled by the excellent staff of STARDiving (Scuba Training Academy Rome) in Rome.
