Lucca Comics & Games 07

For the All Saints' long weekend we decide, with our friends Roberta & Alex, to go to "Lucca Comics & Games 2007", on the occasion of the trade fair devoted to comics and role-playing games. A voluntary dive among stands, exhibitors, exhibitions and colourful characters within the enchanting setting of the city walls. How to spend a whole day immersed in the childhood memories that have never faded in the adults we have become. PS: next year our costumes will not be missing...

NOT TO BE MISSED The Vecchio Morino, Corso Indipendenza 127, Borgo a Buggiano (PT), 057232186, Tuscan cuisine A family-run trattoria where the son cooks and the mother waits at tables. Besides eating rather well (Tuscan tripe,...), the place deserves a mention for the open kitchen set into the vaulted arch of the building, but above all for the thoroughly "rustic" way in which the mother receives the diners. In the trattoria equality reigns: locals and outsiders are given the same "treatment".
