The story

Today, after stopping for about an hour at Solunto, which was unfortunately blocked by a landslide, and skipping Palermo, we headed to the archaeological site of Segesta! The lonely temple is stunning, and the acropolis with its fine amphitheatre is no less so! In the late afternoon we headed to the campsite at San Vito lo Capo, wonderful scenery; it will be our base for the next three days!
