The story

From Umbria, always on our two wheels, we headed up towards Emilia. We passed through the Marche and I must say the road was very nice and pleasant and the landscape all green. First stop the city of Urbino, with its famous university. Then towards Rimini, Bologna (in August it was completely deserted!!!) and San Marino.

From Emilia to Tuscany, touching of course Florence and its splendid churches, Siena (its cathedral is the most beautiful I've ever seen, second only to St. Peter's) with the Piazza del Palio, Lucca surrounded by its walls (really lovely) and Pisa with its legendary Tower. Return to Cagliari from Livorno, not without having visited the city of Viareggio and the Versilia...but nobody beats our beaches!!!
