Every time I am struck, amazed by the beauties that the Eternal City hides around every corner. Rome is the cradle of the world; every time I set foot in the city I realise I am walking through history: the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums, the Pantheon, the Circus Maximus, the Domus Aurea, the Baths of Caracalla, the Aventine, and not least the Appian Way. Fascinated and ever more convinced that Rome is the Light. Excellent are the typical restaurants of Trastevere and the trattorias of the San Lorenzo district (near Termini). I stayed at Hotel Felice, an excellent budget hotel near Termini Station, with friendly staff ready to give any information about the city; Rome is huge and having some tips is definitely not to be underestimated.
