In Liguria with Olga

After my last two jaunts in Russian lands, here comes the long-awaited 13 July!!! Olga lands at Malpensa airport! After 2 days between Milan and Pavia, on Sunday 15 in the afternoon we head towards nearby Liguria, since a dear colleague of mine left me the keys to her strange but lovely house in Ruta (a small village near Camogli) and a fellow villager offered me hospitality in Bordighera. After a long stop at the Serravalle outlet and one in Recco we arrived, in the dead of night, in front of the hill on which "our" house stood, but with the darkness of the night we could not find it. As soon as a little light appeared I went back into the woods and finally, among the thick vegetation, I spotted the walls! From this moment a wonderful little holiday began.

We went to many places including Portofino (where we spent a night on the beach) and the "5 terre", before heading off on Thursday morning to Bordighera. Having taken possession of Marullo's attic, from there it was very convenient to show Olga Sanremo, Monte Carlo and Nice!
