The story

The Crete Senesi is one of the many areas around Siena. Rich in breathtaking landscapes along the ancient roads through medieval villages. In the area there are many thermal spas.

I recommend the Antica Querciolaia in Rapolano Terme ( It is very large and well equipped.

Accommodation: for sleeping there's an embarrassment of choice. There are lots of farm stays and hotels with great character. A wide list can be consulted on the spa website under site map-ospitalità. All the lodgings have an agreement with the spa and entitle you to a 10% discount on treatments. I recommend Agriturismo Podere Fiorello ( a pity it's on the road........

Very picturesque is an excursion to Montichiello and Pienza. Medieval villages.
