Amalfi Coast

An excellent destination for a weekend devoted to culture...... food and wine and not only....

We stayed at the Sea Mare campsite - Via Meta Amalfi 87 - Piano di Sorrento.

It's a small and spartan (at least in 1999....) campsite equipped with tent pitches, bungalows and caravans. It consists of a large terrace overlooking the sea. To reach the beach you have to walk down a very, very steep little road. It's in a strategic position between Sorrento and Positano, close to the ports for departures to the little islands, it's cheap, quiet and with a splendid view................... Inside there is a restaurant. Excellent excursions: Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Capri
