The story

For this 1 November long weekend we set off in the direction of Naples, a city that until now none of the 4 of us (me, Ravenna, Bello and Cuffietta) had ever visited. We caught up with Guido, who had gone down to Campania the week before by car with Biagio, a boy from Ischia who had spent 2 years with him in Spain, in Tarifa. On Friday 28 we showed up at the station around 21.30 to catch the train leaving for Naples at 23.00!! We had no reservation and despite everything we managed to find seats!! What a crowd of people there was!!!!! Just going to the toilet was a real feat!!! After the endless journey, at 8.00 in the morning we arrived in the Neapolitan capital and settled into a small hotel near the station. Guido and Biagio joined us from Ischia too, and so we roamed around Naples until 6 in the morning the following day.

Without knowing it, we had landed in this city on the day of the "White Night". What a state of chaos!! The following day we took the ferry, landing on the wonderful Ischia, hosted by Biagio. Even though we slept 5 to a very small room, they were 3 magnificent days spent among saunas (free!!), swims in the warm sea and hearty meals!!
