On the occasion of our village's festival, Guido and I decided to improvise a little trip along the Tyrrhenian coast of central-northern Italy. So, since he had driven someone to the Genoa area in the late afternoon of Friday the 21st, that evening I reached the Ligurian capital by train. After an evening spent in Genoa, the next morning as soon as we woke up we headed for the "Cinque Terre", where with Guido's father's big BMW we struggled a little to make our way along the narrow roads of this fascinating part of our country. After a whole day spent wandering around the villages of the "Cinque Terre National Park", in the evening we took the motorway towards Livorno, stopping around 11 pm at Cecina.
After spending the evening in a luxurious venue among pretty girls and respectable people, on the morning of Sunday the 23rd we headed for Trevignano Romano, a place on Lake Bracciano, making a stop in a dreary spot in the Argentario… At Trevignano we met Paolo, who for four years now has spent the summer season working at the "Centro Velico 3 V". In this short account I have not mentioned any hotel or hostel simply because we slept three nights in the car.. we had the gigantic BMW and we used it to the full...
