The story

In the middle of October I went with my family to Livata, a splendid mountain spot in the Simbruini mountains where we had lovely picnics. There are beautiful broadleaf woods that at this time of year turn orange, red and yellow and begin to lose their leaves, shading the ground. It's also full of green meadows covered, however, for 20% with fragments of rock. It's full of horses left free to graze that let you approach them calmly. On the way back we stopped at the beautiful monastery of San Benedetto, completely perched on a steep mountainside.
